The Florida Prevention Association (FPA) sponsors a "Back to School Supplies" giveaway for Orlando's Richmond Heights Community. 350 youth accompanied by their parents received school supplies and free food to promote the importance of education.

President of the Florida Prevention Association, Rod Love, stated "It is important that we continue to support our children and FPA was happy to contribute, but we must also expect more from our children in the way of excelling in education and thus the need to raise the bar and inspect what we expect."

At a conference launching the 'Enough Is Enough' program, Roderick Love of the Florida Prevention Association stands with law-enforcement officials and church and community leaders from throughout Central Florida on Monday January 1st, 2007 to discuss how Pine Hills residents can help reduce crime.

'The land is sick, and it's in need of a healing,' said Kelvin Cobaris, a Pine Hills pastor. (DENNIS WALL, ORLANDO SENTINEL)
